background

WTS 2.0 wireless video and data telemetry system

Long range wireless video transmission system, capable of transmitting video, audio and several data.
  • What it's for

Based on IEEE 802.11n Wireless LAN technology with newly developed 4×4 MIMO and beam-forming technology, the system transmits H.264 High Profile or PAL/NTSC video signals up to 25Mbps.
It is composed by a mobile unit with video transmitter functionality, a remote unit with video receiver functionality.
Composed by one rugged RF section for outdoor and one RF rackable indoor section.

  • Key features

    HIGH-QUALITY VIDEO
HD-SDI full HD video, up to 1920×1080 resolution.

    ADAPTIVE VARIABLE-BIT RATE CONTROL
It has an adaptive variable-bit rate control function to prevent sudden disconnection of video and audio link due to the distance between the transmitter and receiver and/ or the deterioration of radio waves caused by obstacles, weather conditions and RF interference. To minimize unexpected signal dropouts, it has a function to automatically or manually reduce the video transmission bit rate.

    BIDIRECTIONAL SIGNAL AND DATA TRANSMISSION
it is not an ordinary downlink video transmission system; it supports a variety of bidirectional signal and data such as Ethernet, RS232 and RS422 remote.

    WIRELESS LAN BRIDGE
It is equipped with an Ethernet I/O that operates as a wireless LAN bridge. it makes possible to connect an IP camera, remote controller, etc. In addition, the Ethernet can operate simultaneously with video.

    DFS-DYNAMIC FREQUENCY SELECTION
DFS function built-in detecting weather radar and others official radio waves, and automatically selecting a frequency free of interference.

BEAMFORMING

Combined with 4×4 MIMO and beamforming technology, its transmission distance and transferable data rate boast superior performance compared with other Wi-Fi based products available on the market. Beamforming enables radio waves to form a strong directional beam between the transmitter and receiver, allowing minimal interference from other 5GHz radio waves, stability, and a wireless link far tighter than other systems.
