Battery simulator
The system will implement both battery simulator (BSS) and battery conditioning equipment (BCE). The compositions of these racks can be varied to satisfy testing needs.
-
battery simulator
As Battery Simulator configuration, the system simulates the behaviour of a 32.8V lithium battery by providing the following functions:
- Voltage and current monitoring, during charge and discharge cycles
- Simulation of battery temperature variation
- Simulation af analogue ASM telemetry
- Calculation of energy managed during charge and discharge cycles (Wh)
- Protection from Overvoltage, Undervoltage ed Overcurrent
- Interlock
- Isolation switch
-
battery conditioning
As Battery Conditioning configuration, the system manages the charge and discharge of a 32.8 V lithium battery by providing the following functions:
- Voltage and current monitoring during charge and discharge cycles
- Monitoring the temperature of the battery
- Calculation of energy managed during charge and discharge cycles (Wh)
- Protection from Overvoltage, Undervoltage ed Overcurrent
- Interlock
- Isolation switch
